How Did You Meet?
We met in 2017 through a mutual friend. I was living in Newport at the time and was invited to meet this friend and a few others out for food at the Fastnet Pub. When I arrived there was an open seat next to Cody. After we left Fastnet Pub, we went to Midtown Oyster Bar for drinks. Cody and I talked the entire night! The conversation never stopped and it was like we had known each other for years! Over the next couple of months, we continued to talk frequently and by our second date, Cody asked me to be his girlfriend. When you know, you know!How Did He Ask?
Our proposal happened during a bucket list vacation of ours in Iceland! We were driving across the country to see all that Iceland has to offer. On the third day of our trip, we went to see one of the country’s biggest and most beautiful waterfalls. We hiked up to the top of the waterfall to take in the different views and take some pictures. Cody had me turn around to take some pictures with a scenic background and when I turned back towards him, he was down on one knee! It was truly a perfect moment that I will never forget!Tell Us About Your Ring!
My ring is my dream ring! It has a yellow gold band with four white gold prongs and hidden halo detailing. The center stone is a beautiful round cut and is truly the star of the show!
